A young Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani, who lives in France, can’t come back to her motherland anymore after her nude photo shoot Le Figaro magazine. She did it as protest against the violation of women’s rights in Iran.

“Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance officially informed me, that Iran doesn’t need actors and that I can offer my actor services to others,” Farahani told The Daily Telegraph.

The young actress left Iran complaining against restrictive Islamic laws on film production.

Farahani started stage acting at the age of 6. She got best actress award in Tehran when she was only 14.  She played in 15 movies, which received many awards in different festivals. Farahani is also activist of environmental movement.
