After the passing of the law on the start of Armenia's EU accession process, I have stated that simultaneous membership in the European Union and the EAEU is not possible. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the press briefing after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government—and referring to Armenia's possible withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic (EAEU).
"When that point comes when the choice is final and inevitable, we will make an appropriate decision. If we announce this at the official level, then withdrawal is possible. Any scenario is possible, it is connected, among other things, with the expressed will of our people, with our current situations and negotiation processes, and with our results and prospects of analyzing the situation and opportunities and alternatives," added the premier of Armenia.
