Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during a meeting with visiting Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev in Tehran, stated that the expanding of relations with Azerbaijan is one of Iran's foreign policy priorities.

According to the Iranian president, attempts by ill-wishers to hinder fruitful relations between the two countries will not succeed.

"We are interested in expanding these relations in all domains. There are no obstacles to the development of interaction and cooperation between the two countries," Pezeshkian noted.
