The 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will be held in Georgia’s capital on October 22 and 23.
And according to the event organizers, Armenian and Azerbaijani prime ministers Nikol Pashinyan and Ali Asadov will also participate, reports Azatutyun, the RFE/RL’s Armenian service.
Their offices, however, have not yet confirmed their participation in this forum.
Around two thousand delegates are expected to attend.
The main theme of the 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will be investing under conditions of stability. The respective discussions will focus on global trade, transport and logistics, development of the Middle Corridor, energy, digital transformation, and several other topics.
The 1st Tbilisi Silk Road Forum was held in 2015 and takes place every two years. Nikol Pashinyan and Ali Asadov had attended it in 2023, and then–Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili had held a trilateral meeting with them.
