YEREVAN. –Square named Armenia was opened in Puerto Williams city, Chile, on Jan. 29 with a cross-stone set up in the square.

The initiative to donate a cross-stone to the city belongs to Argentinean-Armenian businessman, head of Corporación América Eduardo Eurnekian, Armenian MFA press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Eduardo Eurnekian, Armenian Ambassador to Argentina and Chile Vladimir Karmirshalian, Armenian Consul in Chile Eduardo Guarachi and representatives of local media participated in the event.
