We have an almost daily dialogue with Turkey, and the ultimate goal of this dialogue is the opening of borders and the establishment of diplomatic relations. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Wednesday told this to reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia.

“Also, I expressed hope a little while ago that we will have tangible results in this direction in the near future. Of course, part of them is the opening of the Gyumri–Kars railway. You ask if there is a possibility of that in the near future. I say there is practically a possibility of that in the near future. You are saying, ‘Have you received signals [in that regard]?’ I say we are receiving signals,” added the Armenian FM.
