Representatives of the Republic of Armenia will not participate in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit to be held on November 27 in Bishkek, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said.

“As for Armenia, that country will not participate, but its representatives have informed the [summit] organizers that they are not opposed to the adoption of the documents agreed upon during the meeting,” Ushakov told reporters.

The next CSTO summit will be held on November 11, 2026, in Moscow. A decision will be adopted on transferring the organization’s chairmanship to Russia, and this will enter into force on January 1, 2026.
