The issue has been largely resolved. Iranian ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami told this to reporters Wednesday, referring to the dissatisfaction that arose on the Iranian side after the demonstrations that took place in front of the Iranian embassy in Yerevan a few weeks ago.
The protests held in Yerevan, in parallel with the demonstrations taking place in Iran, had caused dissatisfaction on the Iranian side. The ambassador had told reporters that insults were being spoken against the Iranian authorities during them and Tehran had the impression that Armenia was becoming a center of anti-Iranian actions.
In response to a question about the aforesaid dissatisfaction that arose, the Iranian ambassador to Armenia on Wednesday noted that the issues had been largely resolved. "We [i.e. Iran] express our gratitude to the high-ranking officials of Armenia. Yes, this issue has been largely resolved.
There are cases when things like this happen even between friends and relatives, they get upset with each other. But old friends are friends," Shirgholami noted.
