The matter of managing Armenia's railways is currently being discussed with the Russian side, National Assembly (NA) speaker Alen Simonyan told reporters in the NA on Tuesday.

"We [i.e. Armenia] expect a response as soon as possible. The project is of significant importance. Therefore, we have no other alternative than to discuss and deal with this matter," Simonyan added.

According to him, there are countries that show some interest in this regard, but negotiations are ongoing, and there is no final decision yet.
