YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly’s (NA) Acting Chief of Staff, Gagik Mkheyan, decided to do a “favor” to the parliament staff on the account of the state budget, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“Informed sources told Zhoghovurd that Gagik Mkheyan proposed to the staff members to no longer recharge their personal mobile phones at home, but rather at the National Assembly. According to Mkheyan, in this way the NA staffers will be able to avoid extra electricity usage at their homes and will recharge the phones on the state’s account. In an interview with the newspaper, however, Mkheyan denied this information. ‘It is absurd,’ he said,” Zhoghovurd writes.
