YEREVAN.- CSTO has no intention to interfere into inner situation of the member-states, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said during the space bridge Moscow-Astana-Minsk-Yerevan-Kiev-Chisinau on Tuesday.

Asked that CSTO has reached an agreement to use force against opposition, Bordyuzha stressed the point is to assist the national force if it fails to handle the situation. He added that the agreement has been elaborated during the CSTO unofficial summit in Astana.

“The organization has not only military but other potential as well, while restoring order and defending citizens should be gained through consensus. CSTO cannot act as gendarmerie or participate in political resistance,” Bordyuzha said.
