YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday received a delegation from the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs.  

The President welcomed and underscored the delegation’s visit to Armenia, in terms of the aforesaid Committee MPs’ mission to assist in preparing the report on Armenia and the region. In Sargsyan’s words, such visits and contacts are a good opportunity to get to know the state of affairs on location, and to form an objective view, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.       

Armenia’s President and the European Parliament delegation discussed the talks, which had commenced in July 2010, with respect to the Armenia-EU Association Agreement, and reflected on the preparation of the report on Armenia and the region.
