YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Samvel Balasanyan on Thursday received Georgian Ambassador, Tengiz Sharmanashvili. 

During the meeting, they reached a preliminary agreement on holding the next meeting between Balasanyan and his Georgian colleague, Mikheil Machavariani, in Tbilisi and in early March, NA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

Samvel Balasanyan also thanked the Georgian ambassador for his country’s efforts toward making the relations between the parliaments of both countries become more active, and he added that Armenia likewise is interested in the continuous development of these relations. 

In his turn, Ambassador Sharmanashvili thanked Armenian NA Deputy Speaker, and he highly evaluated Samvel Balasanyan’s efforts toward making the interparliamentary ties become more active.
