YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated on Friday holder of Armenia’s Order of Honor Michel Legrand on the occasion of his 80th anniversary.

I congratulate you on the 80th anniversary. You have made a great contribution to the development of modern music, your compositions are performed all over the world. Armenia-France ties have been strengthened due to bright personalities as you are. 

I remember with warmth our meeting in Yerevan back in 2009 and look forward to new ones, especially in Yerevan as Armenians do love you and are proud of you. I congratulate you again and wish health and energy,” the message reads.
