YEREVAN.- French or French-Armenian lyceum will be created in Yerevan, Ambassador Henri Reynaud said at a press conference on Tuesday.

The diplomat recalled that the offer was voiced during Nicolas Sarkozy’s state visit to Armenia last October. Another proposal referred to increase in number of the Armenian students getting education in France.

The Ambassador said that the Foreign Ministry and the Embassy are working on the project but it is still early to speak about the precise date.

“Opening of a lyceum requires time. There is no precise date but we hope it will open in the near future,” he said.
