YEREVAN. – Eighty of the 249 buses—which were imported from Beijing along the lines of Armenia’s and China’s intergovernmental cooperation toward improving Armenian capital Yerevan’s regular commuter transport—will serve Yerevan’s residents as of today (Saturday), Yerevan City Hall Transport Department Chief Henrik Navasardyan told news reporters.

In his words, the eighty buses will operate in six different routes, and they will charge no fare on Saturday.

Also, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took a tour with the newly imported public transport buses (photo).
