An earthquake was registered in the Province of Van, Turkey, on Saturday morning. 

The tremor, which measured magnitude 4.2, struck the Province’s Colpan village at 8:57 a.m., Posta daily of Turkey informs.

To note, the earthquakes that hit Van on October 23 and November 9, 2011, had claimed 672 lives and injured more than 6,000 people.
