KIEV. – The Ukrainian police arrested a 38-year-old resident of Irpin city of Kiev Province, on suspicion of beating a 49-year-old citizen of Armenia—who is a capital Yerevan resident—, and as a result the latter had died, Ukrainskie Novosti informs.

This information was provided by Nikolai Zhukovich, Head of the Kiev Provincial Ministry of Internal Affairs Press Service.

In his words, an argument and a fight broke, in the early morning hours of March 24, between the Ukrainian and the Armenian, who were drinking alcohol together in an Irpin hostel.

“They fought, [and] beat each other solely with fists. The Yerevan citizen [subsequently] felt ill, and an ambulance was called in,” Zhukovich noted.

But the Armenian died at hospital due to high blood pressure.
