YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police released a statement about the assessment presented by Armenian Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan on the work done by the Armenian police in 2011.

The police commented only on one provision where it was stated that many citizens were refused to be given passports without any reason by the passport and visa administration it its local divisions.

It is mentioned in the statement that people were refused to be given passports if their address was not presented.
