YEREVAN. – The Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) Chairman Aram Sargsyan did not rule out the possibility that, should the Party enter the next parliament, it could work together with the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), “if, of course, RPA accepts the principles of DPA’s program,” Yerkir daily writes.

“The DPA leader, however, excluded cooperation with the opposition [bloc Armenian National Congress] ANC, and noted that the question still remains as to who the real opposition is. In his view, if ANC returns to power, it will make solely cosmetic changes in the system, because today the authorities and the ANC are the players of the same field,” Yerkir writes.
