Turkish Airlines company representatives as well as guests, media members, and the Airlines’ ambassador, famous basketball Kobe Bryant were on hand at the Los Angeles International Airport, to mark the launch of Turkish Airlines’ Los Angeles-Istanbul daily flights and the one-year anniversary of Turkish company’s services at the Airport, Business Wire informs.    

“Turkey is such an exotic country, and I am very happy that it will now become more accessible from Los Angeles,” Bryant said during the event.

To note, the American-Armenian community has condemned Kobe Bryant’s contract with Turkish Airlines. The Armenians do not like the fact that Bryant has signed a contract with a country that denies the Armenian Genocide. The local Armenians are surprised that Bryant, who plays in a city with such large Armenian community, signed a contract with a company that represents a country where human rights are violated.
