YEREVAN. – Armenia’s interstate highways and mountain passes are drivable, for the most part, as of Saturday at 10 am.

But there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

Selim Mountain Pass is closed from the Gegharkunik Region section.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Road Department, as of Saturday at 10 am, travel at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Georgia’s Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is prohibited for trailers and for buses seating more than thirty passengers, and traffic is solely permitted for semi-trailers with chained wheels.
