YEREVAN. – Armenian MOD Investigation Service released new details on the accident that occurred at Vardenis-Mets Masrik Highway, on Saturday at 1:30 am.
The VAZ 2106—belonging to conscript, Private V. Abgaryan—and the Moskvitch—belonging to conscript, Private A. Balasanyan—have collided.
As a result, V. Abgaryan died at the site, whereas A. Balasanyan and VAZ 2106’s passengers—non-commissioned officer V. Tadevosyan and Senior Lieutenant K. Hakobyan—sustained injuries and were transferred to Vardenis city Garrison Hospital.
An MOD investigation division is preparing material on the incident.
Forensic medical examinations are commissioned.
