YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan toured the Police Force’s new center for auto registration and drivers’ license issuance center, Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informs from the location.   

The new center will considerably reduce the time spent on state services in connection with vehicles. Now, the services will be carried out without a written application. In addition, when the owner of an automobile changes, the vehicle will be automatically removed from the former owner’s registration.     

To note, the auto registration requirements have been relaxed in Armenia, and by way of legislation. 

Also, the procedure for issuing license plates has changed. Instead of the former auction system, the vehicle owners can now choose any unused license plates.
