STEPANAKERT. - Nagorno-Karabakh President Bako Sahakyan on Monday met with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Armenian Representation Director Ashot Ghazarian and first deputy chairman of the Armenia Chess Federation Smbat Lpoutyan.

The issues related to carrying out different projects in Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] were discussed during the meeting, presidential press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

President Sahakyan stated the importance of the AGBU’s contribution to the development of Artsakh stressing necessity of further expanding mutual cooperation.

Sahakyan also expressed satisfaction with active participation of the organization in assisting sports adding that it substantially contributes to strengthening relations between the Armenian people in different parts of the world.
