YEREVAN.- Russia is not indifferent about relations with its partners, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in Yerevan.

Speaking during the press conference on Monday, he commented on Baku’s negative assessments of the work of the OSCE Minsk Group mediators.

“The mediators are performing their duties honestly adhering to the Helsinki Final Act principles: non-use of force or threat of force, respect for territorial integrity and the right of nations to self-determination. The Co-Chairs’ position has not changed,” he said.

The mediators’ position is reflected in the joint statement issued by presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia and the co-chairs during the 2012 OSCE summit in Astana.

High appraisal of the co-chairs’ work is pointed out in the Astana statement as well as statements adopted as a result of trilateral meetings.
