Turkish film director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, whose “Once in Anatolia” last year received the Cannes Jury’s Grand Prix Award, this year will come to Cannes to receive the “Golden Chariot” of the Association of French Cinematographers.      

This award is presented to those film directors who have demonstrated courage and innovation in their works, Rosbalt News Agency of Russia informs.

In 2011, “Once in Anatolia” also received an award at the Golden Apricot Film Festival in Belgium.
