The ruling coalition’s senior partner, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), led by the country’s President and RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan, is holding meetings in the Tavush Region, and within the framework of campaigning for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

In a get-together with the residents of Berd city, Sargsyan said the RPA has selected solely the path to development.

“We favor peace. And those in Berd know the meaning of peace very well, because you live in the border zone. You know what war is, and you appreciate peace,” the President said.

Speaking about the RPA’s future projects, Serzh Sargsyan noted they are coming with a comprehensive program of changes.

And commenting on other political parties’ ideas and calls, RPA leader said:

“Many political forces pledge more than they can achieve, or more than what is possible. But we make pledges that are within our power. We do not make unachievable pledges.”
