YEREVAN. – This election campaign as well as the previous ones were not fill of debates, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP candidate Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The parties abstained debates, where they could prove their approach.  At the same time the PAP rejected no debate and finds that presentation of the program and its discussion should be an important component of the election campaign, she said.

Asked to assess the PAP’s campaign, Zohrabyan said that in case of free and fair elections, the party will get the majority of votes.

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is a political power included in the ruling coalition.

Founded by Armenian biggest businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, the party debuted in 2007 Armenian parliamentary elections, winning 29 seats in 131-seat Armenia’s National Assembly.

The proportional list of the party includes 165 names. PAP has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system. Prosperous Armenia Party’s election campaign slogan is: “Believe, trust, demand!”
