BAKU. – Scandals go on in connection to the Eurovision song contest-2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This time, Sweden’s representative Loreen was at the center of the scandal after the second semi-final on Thursday.

Reuters’ correspondent asked Loreen a question during a press conference following the semi-final. The question referred to the meeting between Loreen and the Azerbaijani opposition. However, the translator changed the essence of the question while doing his ‘job,’ and as a result, the Swedish representative was asked how she felt on the stage. Besides, the showman of the conference got nervous by the question and claimed not to politicize the conference. Anyway Loreen decided to limit herself by diplomatic expressions and did not answer to the question after all.

The incident is hotly discussed on social networks and a few oppositional media outlets in Azerbaijan.
