YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received British House of Lords member, Baroness Caroline Cox.

Sargsyan appreciated Baroness Cox’s long-standing assistance rendered to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, her humanitarian activities, and her efforts toward strengthening Armenian-British ties, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The President stressed that the Armenian people have special feelings toward their friends, and expressed confidence that in history Baroness Caroline Cox’s name will be one of the first ones to be remembered as the greatest friend of the Armenians. 

Also, President Sargsyan and Baroness Cox discussed the current reforms in Armenia, the priorities for its development and the Armenia-EU cooperation, and underscored the need to provide to the international community objective and complete information about the Karabakh issue.
