VILNIUS. – The South Caucasus will continue to be separated in geopolitical sense, until the three countries - Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan - will find a common approach to the regional values, Armenian Ambassador to Lithuania Ara Ayvazyan said in an interview with DELFI  agency.

Commenting on the question about the situation on regional security, Ambassador said that the South Caucasus is simply geographic union of three countries.

According to him, the region has always been an arena where super powers are competing for their interests.

“Currently the South Caucasus again attracts the attention of powerful players. The region’s strength can be in the cooperation, seeking common interest and values. Till these states reject regional cooperation, the region will be under the influence of foreign factors,” the Ambassador said.
