YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan was not in attendance at fifth National Assembly’s (NA) first session held Thursday, Zhamanak daily writes.

‘“His absence was merely a result of work load; there is no political subtext,’ RPA member Naira Zohrabyan said, and added that Tsarukyan met with [PAP NA] Faction members a day earlier and asked them to be proactive and active.

‘The PAP will be one of the most—if not, the most—active factions in the Parliament,’ Zohrabyan assured,” Zhamanak writes.
