YEREVAN. – Armenian Constitutional Court rejected the lawsuit by the opposition Armenian National Congress coordinator, MP Levon Zurabyan.

The latter demanded that No. 9 precinct results of the May 6 parliamentary elections to be cancelled. The Court claimed the lawsuit to be baseless, as no proves was attached.

To note, ruling Republican Party of Armenia Ruben Sadoyan (12,522) won at No. 9 precinct, Prosperous Armenia Party member Napoleon Azizyan (8,933) was the second, Zurabyan (4,290) was the third, and Heritage party deputy head Ruben Hakobyan (4,213) was the fourth. The last two entered Parliament on their parties’ proportional list.
