YEREVAN. – The Armenian Church, Culture Ministry, and National Competitiveness Foundation signed a memorandum on June 8 with respect to cooperation in the restoration of and carrying out improvements at the 10th century Tatev Monastic Complex in Armenia’s Syunik Region.      

At the same time, this cooperation aims to secure tourism development and stimulate the international recognition of historical and cultural heritage. 

This cooperation will be in effect until the Tatev Monastery is restored.
