YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Transport and Communication Ministry has been involved in major functions in the recent years, PM Tigran Sargsyan said Monday while introducing to the Ministry staff the new Transport and Communication Minister, Gagik Beglaryan.

The Premier also highlighted the three main domains of the Ministry’s activities: construction of the North-South Road Corridor, cooperation with the World Bank, and telecommunication.    

Sargsyan thanked the former Minister Manuk Vardanyan and congratulated the newly-appointed Minister Beglaryan, expressing a hope that he will secure the continuity of the activities.  

In his turn, Gagik Beglaryan expressed a conviction that he will justify the confidence entrusted in him by the country’s President and the ruling Republican Party.
