YEREVAN. – There are many things to do within the sphere of health care; everything must be done so that people do not become afraid of getting ill, Armenia’s newly-appointed Healthcare Minister Derenik Dumanyan said Monday.

Introducing the new Minister to the Ministry staff, PM Tigran Sargsyan likewise stressed that not all Armenian citizens visit doctors’ offices because of financial problems. And he pledged to secure “proper” funding to the country’s healthcare sector, so that medical assistance could become affordable.
