YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Latvia, Ara Ayvazyan, on Tuesday presented his credentials to Latvian President Andris Berzins.    

During the ensuing private talk, Berzins and Ayvazyan discussed the prospects for deepening political discourse and developing bilateral ties, and both countries’ interaction within international organizations, MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

Underscoring Armenia’s progress in the European integration process, President Berzins extended his country’s readiness to provide assistance in this regard.

And upon the Latvian president’s request, Ambassador Ayvazyan gave details on the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Armenia’s ambassador also met with the Latvian parliament’s deputy speaker Andrejs Klementjevs,  and Education and Science Minister Roberts Kilis.
