YEREVAN.- Armenia’s parliamentary elections held this year registered considerable progress as compared with the previous ones, said Francois-Xavier de Donnea, head of the OSCE PA observation delegation to Armenia.

Addressing the 21 session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Donnea gave positive assessment of the elections, Armenian delegate to OSCE PA Artashes Geghamyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“In his speech, Francois-Xavier de Donnea said that the Armenian administration spared no effort to ensure high-level organization of elections,” Geghamyan said.

He noted that the Karabakh issue was not placed on the agenda but was mentioned in one of the reports which will be considered by the Committee on Political Affairs and Security.

The 21st OSCE PA annual session opened in Monaco on July 5 and will last till July 9.
