YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received on Tuesday the delegation headed by Vice President and Head of Environmental Protection Organization of Iran Mohammad-Javad Mohammadizadeh.

The Armenian official noted dynamic development of bilateral relations. He stressed that Armenia and Iran are cooperating effectively in various fields, pointing out cooperation in regional environmental projects.

Mohammadizadeh expressed content with high level relations stressing potential for the development of cooperation in different fields.

The official discussed issues related to founding of Friendship and Peace Park on Armenian-Iranian border as well as problems regarding the use of water resources and water quality.

Armen Gevorgyan welcomed the idea of a park adding it will give an impetus to development of ecotourism in the region.
