YEREVAN. – The meeting between the Armenian and Russian Presidents fully corresponded to the road map of the development of bilateral relations, head of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Artak Zakaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. He commented on the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s working visit and his meeting with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to Zakaryan, the meeting will serve as continuation of good cooperation between governments and regions of Russia and Armenia. Besides, cooperation activation may serve for mutual support in international arenas. Due to Russia’s mediating role in the OSCE Minsk Group on the Karabakh peace process, it is still possible to maintain fragile peace, Zakaryan added.
