Turkish Industry Minister Nihat Ergun visited mostly Kurd-populated Diyarbakir province to meet with the governor, MPs from ruling Justice and Development party as well as businessmen and public figures.

Delivering speech during his visit Ergun spoke about Turkey saying motherland is rich not with natural resources but people living there.

“From Edrine to Hakkari - all this is our common motherland. The flag of this country symbolizes the color of blood. We all shaded blood. I see those killed in Diyarbakir, Edirne, Erzruм, killed Muslims and Christians. The blood of our Armenian citizens was shed in this land,” he said.
