YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan, on Tuesday met with David Sergeenko, the Georgian Minister of Health, Labour and Social Affairs.   

Manukyan expressed a hope that the partnership relations between the two countries will maintain the existing high level, Armenian MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

In his turn, Sergeenko noted that the Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the healthcare sector is one of the most important directions in bilateral ties, and he expressed a readiness to continue the collaboration.  

The interlocutors discussed the cooperation between both countries in the healthcare sector, and several other matters of bilateral interest. 

The health minister stressed the Georgian party’s interest in Armenia’s track-record in outside medicine. In his turn, Ambassador Manukyan considered the Georgian record in medical insurance to be important for the Armenian party.   

They also shared a view on the need to expand cooperation in the health sector of the two countries, and to exchange knowhow between the Armenian and Georgian physicians.
