YEREVAN. – Even though the official opening of Armenia’s largest shopping center—Yerevan Mall, which is built on about 4.5 hectares—was envisioned for August 15, the construction is not yet over, Zhamanak daily reports.

“Solely 90 percent of the center is ready. The construction had begun in March of the year past. Although the opening has not yet taken place, all spaces are leased.

Armenia’s largest shopping center is four-story, where a variety of world brands will be included.

“Incidentally, about a one-hectare space is allocated to the French Carrefour hypermarket chain, and the first Carrefour in Armenia will launch in September; the other [Carrefour] will be in Avan [District of Yerevan],” Zhamanak writes.
