Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will be in Armenia on an official visit on Thursday and Friday.

He will meet with Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Georgian sources report.

The interlocutors will discuss political and economic matters.

Special attention will be paid to the present-day situation following Georgia’s signing of the European Union Association Agreement, and Armenia’s Russia-led Customs Union accession process. The parties plan to confer on finding an acceptable format for collaboration.

In addition, Armenia plans to raise the matter with respect to Georgia’s plan to introduce a visa requirement for Armenia as of September 1.
