On June 28, the first sitting of the steering committee of Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme (Black Sea CBC) will be held in Batumi.

The meeting is held on the initiative of the Georgian State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration) and the Government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara.

The Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme is a program under the European Neighborhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI) of the EU. It aims to contribute to “a stronger and sustainable economic and social development of the regions of the Black Sea Basin”, Georgia Times reports.

Black Sea CBC program includes Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, Turkey, Moldova, Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
