The residents of Karakale village of Turkey’s Kars Province have invited famous American Armenian television personality Kim Kardashian to their village.

Ever since the publicizing of information about Kardashain’s lineage, there is great excitement in Karakale village, which the ancestral village of the American Armenian celebrity, reported Hurriyet daily of Turkey.

The Karakale villagers also want to name their village school after Kim Kardashian, and some are even suggesting naming Kars’ famous pale yellow cheese after her.

The village prefect noted that Armenians used to live in Karakale, but once they had left, the forebears of the current village residents had come to Karakale from Georgia.

He stressed that 25 of the houses which Armenians had built are still standing, and the Armenian cemetery near the village is still preserved.
