YEREVAN. – Five more football legends have agreed to play in the friendly match devoted to the 60th birth anniversary of Khoren Hovhannisyan, the legendary player of FC Ararat Yerevan and the ex-USSR national squad.

These legends are Croatians Zvonimir Boban and Dario Šimić, and Brazilians Mário Jardel, Edílson and Serginho.

Event sponsor and businessman Artur Soghomonyan informed about the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter Vera Martirosyan.

But Italian football manager and former player Giovanni Trapattoni, who was in list of invitees, will be unable to come. 

The friendly will be played in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan on March 28, and between the ex-USSR and world stars’ teams of the 1980s and 1990s.
