YEREVAN. – Armenia national football squad and FC Pyunik (Yerevan) defender Levon Hayrapetyan spoke to the With Vera program of Vera&Football. Below is an abridged version of our interview.

Levon, how was it that you moved to Germany at a young age with your family?

My father was playing field hockey. When he received an invitation from Hamburg, we moved; I was two years old at the time.

[Which is your] most notable match in Armenia’s national team?

My first match; it was with Georgia. Since then, there have been many memorable games—[against] Serbia, Germany, Ireland.
