For the first time, Facebook has been called to answer before the court in Germany for spreading false messages from users, reports NTV. The lawsuit was filed by one of the Würzburg attorney’s offices. The District Court will examine the case on February 6.

Facebook is obliged to remove the content that contradicts the law, in case it is informed about it. Experts, however, point out, that the company often does not respond to numerous requests.
